1. Technology overview
Qritive is a Singapore medical AI company that builds digital pathology software for cancer diagnostics. It addresses the shortage of pathologists and the slow, manual review of glass slides by moving histopathology into a digital workflow with AI assistance.
Pantheon is a vendor-agnostic pathology workbench with case management, a low-bandwidth slide viewer supporting common whole-slide image formats and DICOM, annotation tools and report generation, deployable on premises or in the cloud. AI modules plug into Pantheon or other digital pathology platforms: QAi Prostate Dx and Grade for prostate adenocarcinoma, plus modules for colon cancer, lymph node metastasis and immunohistochemistry biomarkers. Customers are hospital and commercial pathology laboratories.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Pantheon workbench: case dashboard, slide viewer, annotations and on-demand report generation in one window.
- Prostate AI: QAi Prostate Dx and Grade classify benign versus malignant tissue and show segmentation maps.
- Additional AI modules: colon cancer, lymph node metastasis and immunohistochemistry biomarker analysis.
- Vendor-agnostic design: supports widely used whole-slide image formats, DICOM and other platforms such as Sectra.
- Hospital integration: connects to LIS, EMR, PACS and supports remote access and telepathology.
- Flexible deployment: available on premises or in the cloud.
3. Potential application
Oncology hospitals in Vietnam could digitize prostate and colon biopsy review and use AI to prioritize malignant cases. Private laboratory chains could centralize slide reading across branches through telepathology. Provincial hospitals without enough pathologists could send digital slides to a central hub for remote reporting.
4. Benefits
Supports screening, triage and prioritization so pathologists see likely malignant cases first. Produces segmentation maps and case-level summary reports with tissue areas, reducing manual measurement work. Works with existing scanners and LIS, EMR and PACS systems thanks to a vendor-agnostic design. Enables remote reading and telepathology for labs that share scarce specialists.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Cancer incidence in Asia is rising while the number of pathologists grows slowly, pushing laboratories toward slide scanners and digital workflows. Regulators such as Singapore's HSA now register AI pathology tools, and large lab chains in Asia are adopting AI modules, which creates a path for hospitals and lab networks in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
6. Other information
Qritive operates from Singapore. Pantheon is an HSA Class A registered device, CE-marked and developed under ISO 13485. QAi Prostate Grade received HSA Class C IVD registration in August 2025 and Abu Dhabi Department of Health approval in July 2025. Partners shown include Roche, Philips, NVIDIA, AWS and Sectra; customers include Metropolis Healthcare and Dr Lal PathLabs. It was a MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific 2024 finalist.
