Revefi, Inc. was founded in 2021 by Sanjay Agrawal and Shashank Gupta, both co-founders of ThoughtSpot, and has offices in Redmond, Washington and Bengaluru, India. It helps enterprises that run Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Redshift keep data trustworthy while controlling fast-growing cloud data and AI spend.

Its AI DBA is a set of 18 specialised AI agents that cover data observability, automated quality monitoring, performance tuning, FinOps and governance, connecting with read-only metadata access in minutes and creating monitors automatically. Alerts flag anomalies, cost spikes and usage drift, and one-click actions apply optimisations. A newer AI FinOps and Observability module tracks token cost and behaviour of LLM calls and agents on OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Vertex AI, and an MCP server works with Claude Code. Customers shown include Verisk, AMD, Stanley Black & Decker, Docker and Ingersoll Rand.

One platform covers data quality, performance and cost, so teams do not need separate observability and FinOps tools. The vendor cites 30-70% reductions in Snowflake and cloud data costs and says first insights arrive in about five minutes. Verisk reports 27% lower Snowflake spend on the site. Metadata-only access limits exposure of business records.

Cloud data platform and generative AI bills are rising quickly, while data teams stay small, so buyers want agents that combine observability, quality and cost control. Southeast Asian enterprises moving to Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery face the same pressure to prove return on data and AI investment.
