1. Technology overview
TASConnect is a bank-agnostic working capital and trade finance platform operated by SCV Research and Development Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of SC Ventures, the innovation and ventures arm of Standard Chartered. The company is based in Singapore and targets CFOs, procurement and sales teams, SMEs, banks and non-bank financial institutions.
The SaaS platform offers payables financing (supply chain finance), dynamic discounting, receivables financing and distributor financing on a modular architecture. A March 2026 alliance with Mastercard embeds commercial card payments into the workflow. In Vietnam the platform is offered through a procure-to-pay partnership with Atalink announced in August 2024. Named customers include Syngenta, YOFC, Protus Group, Merit Farm and Lenovo.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Payables financing: supply chain finance for early supplier payment on buyer-approved invoices.
- Dynamic discounting: buyers pay early in exchange for negotiated discounts.
- Receivables and distributor financing: working capital for sellers and distributors.
- Embedded payments: Mastercard commercial card payments inside the platform workflow.
- Bank-agnostic onboarding: multiple banks and non-bank financiers on one platform.
3. Potential application
A Vietnamese manufacturer or electronics distributor could offer early-payment programmes to suppliers through partner banks. A bank or non-bank lender in Vietnam could run an anchor-led distributor financing programme for agricultural inputs or consumer goods.
4. Benefits
Suppliers can obtain early payment against approved invoices while buyers keep payment terms. Banks and non-bank lenders can onboard anchor buyers and suppliers on one bank-agnostic platform. Dynamic discounting and card payments give finance teams more liquidity options. A reported ISO 27001 certification supports security reviews.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Supply chain finance in Vietnam remains concentrated in large banks, while many SME suppliers lack access to working capital. Bank-agnostic platforms linked to ERPs and procure-to-pay tools are a route to extend financing down to tier-2 and tier-3 suppliers.
