1. Technology overview
Techvico is a Hanoi-based robotics company active since 2019 that grew from SLAM and computer vision research into a provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), navigation and fleet software for warehouses, factories and hospitals. It reports more than 100 AMRs deployed for customers in over seven markets.
Its robot lines include the Basebot (BB) series such as the BB250 with SLAM navigation and speeds up to 2 m/s, plus Flexbot, Picking Assist, Lifting and Tugging series. TVC NAV is its AI-powered navigation stack for industrial and outdoor AMRs, and TVC Fleet is a brand-agnostic, VDA 5050-compliant fleet manager that maps sites, builds missions, dispatches robots and connects to WMS, WCS, MES and ERP systems through APIs. Client logos include Samsung, FedEx, Ford and Brother.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Basebot BB250: SLAM-navigated AMR that lifts racks and carts at up to 2 m/s.
- Robot series: Flexbot, Picking Assist, Lifting and Tugging lines for different loads.
- TVC NAV: AI-powered navigation for industrial and outdoor AMRs.
- TVC Fleet: brand-agnostic, VDA 5050-compliant fleet management with live monitoring.
- Enterprise integration: API links to WMS, WCS, MES and ERP systems.
- Simulation tool: forecasts fleet size, utilisation and bottlenecks from real data.
3. Potential application
An electronics plant in Bac Ninh can upgrade magnetic-tape AGVs to SLAM navigation with TVC NAV. A 3PL warehouse can use Flexbot and Picking Assist robots to cut walking time for pickers. A hospital can run AMRs to deliver medication and supplies between departments.
4. Benefits
Automates line-side delivery, picking assistance, pallet handling and hospital medication runs with one robot family. The BB250 has a swappable battery that can be exchanged in a couple of minutes and carries CE and ISO 3691-4 certification. TVC Fleet manages mixed-brand fleets of 10 to 100 AMRs and includes a simulation tool to size fleets and find bottlenecks before deployment.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Electronics and logistics investment in northern Vietnam is creating demand for flexible AMRs that can be redeployed without magnetic tape. Factories increasingly run robots from several vendors, so interoperable fleet software based on standards such as VDA 5050 is becoming a purchasing requirement.
6. Other information
Based at Tam Binh Building, 59/5 Lang Ha, Hanoi, and active since 2019. Showcased TVC NAV at the QVIC 2025 competition. The site lists CE and ISO 3691-4 certification for the Basebot series and client logos including Samsung, FedEx, Ford, Brother and Kuroda.
