ZTRUS AI-OCR Document Intelligence

ZTRUS is a Thai document AI brand operated by Accomate Co., Ltd., which started in February 2019 and is based in Ratchathewi, Bangkok. It addresses the slow, error-prone manual entry of data from Thai and English business documents such as invoices, receipts and forms. The company reports more than 10 million files processed through its AI-OCR.

The platform combines deep-learning OCR optimized for Thai and English with template-less document understanding and natural-language matching. It extracts headers, tables and multi-page content, validates data against customer rules, master data and other documents, and handles exceptions with audit trails. Documents enter by upload or API and leave as JSON or CSV through connectors for ERP, SAP and databases. Related products include ZTREAM, an intelligence layer for workflow automation, and Bifrost LLM.

Template-less extraction removes the need to build a template for each supplier or form layout. Built-in validation against master data and cross-document checks catches errors before data reaches ERP. A feedback loop improves results over time, and the company reports more than 10 million files processed and over 50 completed projects.

Thai and other Southeast Asian enterprises process many documents in local scripts that global OCR tools handle poorly, which has created room for regional document AI vendors. Government agencies such as depa are funding local deep-tech startups, and the same need for local-language extraction exists in Vietnam.

ZTRUS began in February 2019 under Accomate Co., Ltd., received investment in April 2020 from NVEST Venture, backed by Government Savings Bank and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and in 2025 is backed by depa, InnoSpace, FTI and angel investors. It holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification by BSI, won 1st runner-up at the Thailand Synergy 7 Innovation Awards 2024 and a TedFund 2025 award.
