1. Technology overview
AutoStore is a warehouse automation company founded in 1996 and headquartered in Nedre Vats, Norway, that created the cube storage concept for automated storage and retrieval. It targets retailers, 3PLs, grocery and healthcare operators that need to compress warehouse footprint while raising picking speed and accuracy.
The system stacks storage bins inside an aluminum grid, on top of which robots travel to retrieve and deliver bins to pick-and-pack workstations or robotic arm ports. The CubeVerse software platform and AutoStore Intelligence layer coordinate robot traffic, bin placement and order sequencing; customers include Puma, Siemens, UPS, Gucci and DHL, with more than 1,950 systems installed across over 60 countries.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
