1. Technology overview
Crescendo Lab is a Taiwanese marketing technology company established in 2017 as 漸強賴伯股份有限公司. It began with LINE marketing in Taiwan and now serves brands in Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, helping them reach members on the messaging channels they read most and measure the sales that result.
Its suite has three products. MAAC is an AI marketing automation platform for omnichannel journeys across LINE, SMS, LINE notification messages, email, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, with AI segmentation that predicts purchase and churn, AI send-time optimisation, product recommendations and an Ads to Chat link from Meta and Google ads. CAAC is a conversation platform with a unified inbox, 360-degree profiles, agent co-pilot and autonomous support and sales agents. DAAC is a data insight layer that combines MAAC, CAAC and external data with agentic analysis. Users include FamilyMart, IKEA, Rakuten, KFC, Unilever and Nestlé.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- Omnichannel journeys: Builds automated flows across LINE, SMS, email, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
- AI segmentation: Predicts purchase likelihood and churn risk to target members.
- AI smart sending: Chooses the best delivery time for each member.
- Ads to Chat: Connects Meta and Google ad clicks to messaging conversations.
- CAAC inbox and agents: Combines a unified inbox with co-pilot and autonomous support and sales agents.
- DAAC insights: Merges marketing, chat and external data for automated reports and recommendations.
3. Potential application
A convenience store chain in Vietnam can send personalised offers to members by predicted purchase intent and best send time. A fashion retailer can turn ad clicks into chat conversations handled by AI sales agents. A consumer brand selling in Thailand and Vietnam can manage LINE and other messaging campaigns and attribution in one dashboard.
4. Benefits
Marketers can run personalised campaigns on LINE, WhatsApp, SMS and email from one platform and attribute sales across channels. AI predicts the best send time and the members most likely to buy or churn, reducing wasted messages. The company states its autonomous support agent can save 40% of service labour, and the platform sends about 8.7 billion messages a year for more than 800 brands.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Messaging apps such as LINE and WhatsApp have become primary marketing channels in Asia, often outperforming email in open rates. Brands are shifting from mass broadcasts to AI-driven, member-level personalisation and need to prove the sales impact of each message. Southeast Asian retailers face the same pressure as chat-based marketing spreads beyond Thailand into the wider region.
