1. Technology overview
Perceptyne is an Indian robotics company, incorporated in 2021, that builds AI-driven dexterous robots for industrial automation. Its corporate and R&D office is in Kondapur, Hyderabad, with a manufacturing facility in Gandimaisamma, and it builds the full stack from actuators and sensors to control systems and AI application software.
PR-OMNI is a semi-humanoid robot with 7-DOF dual arms, vision, force and tactile sensing, a 10 kg combined payload, holonomic drive and a vertical gantry. PR-PhI is a physical-intelligence layer with modular skills, marker-free visual servoing and tele-operation for shared autonomy. Robot performance can be simulated on NVIDIA Isaac before deployment in a customer's facility.
2. Highlighted features & specifications
- PR-OMNI: semi-humanoid robot with 7-DOF dual arms and a 10 kg combined payload.
- Multimodal sensing: vision, force and tactile sensing for dexterous handling.
- Mobility: holonomic drive and a vertical gantry for reach across workstations.
- PR-PhI skills: modular skill architecture with marker-free visual servoing for moving objects.
- Shared autonomy: tele-operation support for edge cases.
- Digital twin testing: NVIDIA Isaac simulation of the customer's facility.
3. Potential application
Assembly and kitting at electronics manufacturing plants in northern Vietnam. Machine tending and part handling in automotive component factories. Sorting and packing tasks in recycling or food production lines.
4. Benefits
Simulation on NVIDIA Isaac shows robot performance in the customer's facility before deployment. Dual-arm dexterity with force and tactile sensing targets variable assembly tasks that fixed automation handles poorly. Tele-operation provides shared autonomy for exceptions.
5. Market trends & opportunities
Electronics and automotive manufacturers need flexible robots for variable assembly work as labor costs rise and product cycles shorten. Vietnam's electronics assembly sector is a natural fit for dexterous semi-humanoid automation.
6. Other information
Incorporated in 2021 and operating full time from 2022. Reported nearly 30 crore INR in total funding in March 2026, including pre-seed from T-Hub and the Startup India Seed Fund, then funding from India Quotient, DLU Capital and angels. Finalist at the Humanoid Robotics Industry Awards 2025.
