Viet Say (Vietsay) is a Ho Chi Minh City manufacturer founded in 2018 that designs and builds freeze dryers, cold dryers and heat dryers, drawing on technology transferred from Young Chenn Instruments of Taiwan. It helps cooperatives and food or herbal processors move from selling raw produce to high-value dried products, operating a 700 m2 machine workshop with 24 staff that can deliver 10-15 freeze dryers a month.

Its freeze-dryer range spans 10 kg to 2,000 kg per batch, with stainless steel 304/316 chambers, touch-screen control, 20 preset drying recipes, an integrated freezing system and IoT monitoring and control from a phone. Components such as vacuum pumps are imported from Germany, Italy and Japan. The company also builds vacuum extraction and vacuum concentration systems, offers sample drying tests in its R&D room, transfers processing know-how to customers and runs a separate toll freeze-drying workshop.
