VinEnergo Solar + BESS Energy Solutions

VinEnergo Energy Joint Stock Company is the renewable energy arm of Vingroup, founded on 12 March 2025 and headquartered in Hanoi. It develops and operates integrated energy infrastructure that links renewable generation, battery storage, transmission and distribution, and energy supply services for large customers moving to green power.

Its commercial offer combines solar power, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and direct power purchase agreements (DPPA). BESS units come in three formats: box type for homes and offices, cabinet type for commercial and industrial sites, and container type for large grids. The company also offers retail electricity distribution for urban areas and industrial parks, plus testing and monitoring of electrical equipment in factories. Reference sites include a VinFast charging station in Hoa Binh and the VinFast manufacturing complex in Hai Phong.

Industrial park operators can offer tenants green electricity under DPPA with storage to stabilise supply. Factories with high peak-hour tariffs can add cabinet or container BESS to rooftop solar to shave peaks. Resorts, shopping centres and EV charging sites can use storage as backup and to cut energy costs.

Rooftop solar paired with BESS helps factories and charging stations lower electricity costs and shave peak-hour load. The DPPA model lets industrial park tenants buy green electricity directly to support ESG targets. Three BESS formats cover needs from offices to grid-scale sites, and storage can also serve as backup power.

Vietnam's revised Power Development Plan VIII sets large targets for battery storage, and the DPPA mechanism now lets industrial users buy renewable power directly. Export-oriented manufacturers in industrial parks face growing ESG and green-supply-chain requirements, which raises demand for solar-plus-storage packages and green electricity supply.

Founded on 12 March 2025 in Hanoi as part of the Vingroup green energy ecosystem (enterprise code 0110983521). The company states a target portfolio of 100 GW in Vietnam and international markets. In December 2025 it signed a strategic memorandum with IDICO together with VinFast, V-Green and Xanh SM.
